Our Centrifugal Air Mover Facility
A centrifugal air mover, also known as a centrifugal fan, is a type of industrial fan commonly used in various applications, including HVAC systems, industrial ventilation, and water damage restoration. Unlike axial fans that move air parallel to the fan blade axis, centrifugal fans move air perpendicular to the blade axis. They create a high-velocity air stream by rotating blades mounted on a circular hub. The air is drawn into the centre of the fan and then expelled outwards at a high velocity, creating a strong airflow.
Centrifugal air movers are often designed to be portable and easy to move around to be used in various settings. They are commonly used in water damage restoration projects to help dry out wet carpets, floors, and other surfaces. They can also be used for ventilation and air circulation in industrial settings and for cooling in HVAC systems. Centrifugal fans come in various sizes and configurations to suit different applications.
